Everyone should know how to
SAVE A LIFE
Safety is our practice. Prevention is our guide.
The truth is, it can happen at any time. When sudden cardiac arrest occurs, starting CPR gives the best chance for survival. For every minute CPR is delayed, the victim loses a 10% chance of life - making bystanders the most important team member in any out-of-hospital cardiac arrest emergency response.
Safety Matters supports the first responders in your workplace so they are confident in handling medical emergencies or injuries onsite. We understand your needs for quality health and safety training - so that when an emergency strikes, your team is ready - in the workplace, at home, and anywhere in between. With more than 25 years of experience in occupational health and safety, we know your industry.

During the COVID 19 pandemic, Safety Matters courses are available online through a blended training program. Your team can complete 90% of their required training at their own pace now and meet with our instructors for a 1-hour skills check and review of onsite safety procedures. If onsite training is needed we can discuss a plan to keep your employees safe and meet your training requirements. Just give us a call!
In the meantime, we want to help you stay safe and be well at this challenging time. The American Heart Association (AHA) and the International Liason Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) have sent out interim guidance on how to reduce your risk of COVID 19 if called upon to perform CPR at this time. Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) has also provided guidance for COVID 19 in the workplace. Click the images below for the complete information from each organization.
