CPR/AED Training

The most important factor in someone surviving an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is immediate CPR and early access to an AED. This training course leaves your team confident and ready to respond in an emergency. Discussion of your site-specific hazards and first aid and AED equipment makes this a practical learning experience for your team. In three hours, they will earn their two-year certification.  CPR alone is also available upon request.

Your team accomplishes this through:

  • Learning to perform high-quality CPR

  • Discussing the safety skills needed to use an AED specific to your organization’s work environment

  • Covering legal issues and the Good Samaritan Law as well as the importance of medical oversight

  • Reviewing the functions and maintenance of an AED and how to operate one safely

  • Running scenarios using the AED and CPR that are appropriate to workplace hazards and high-risk health problems

  • All participants practice on an AED trainer and manikins with a 2:1 ratio
